Community Performance and Services

Our dancers bring joy, beauty, and sympathy to our communities through dance performances for special occasions and community organizations throughout the Commonwealth. In the last two decades, we have been invited to perform at major cultural, ethnic, and art events in the Great Boston area. We performed for Boston First Night, the Spring Festival celebration at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and the Celtics Games. We also performed at Boston Asian American Day, Boston Dragon Boat Festival, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month celebration, and Boston International Asian Music Festival events, amongst many other events. Our dancers’ performances are always highlights of these events and have been spotlighted by major media such as CBS News Boston, Boston Globe, and social media.

We are also a forerunner in volunteer services among Chinese dance companies in the New England region and are proud of the social impact that we have made.

  1. About 2,000 service hours per year, resulting in many students receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award each year.

  2. Donated $4,000 and 2,000 masks to our healthcare providers, during the very beginning of COVID-19 Pandemic.

In February 2024, almost 50 senior dancers from Angel Dance performed for the Spring Festival celebration at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
