Community Gathers to Commemorate 2025 - Weston, MA

Updated: Jul 12

Date: June 15, 2025

On June 15th, Angel Dance Company hosted an outage in honor of the abundant awards our studio has received. At Weston Recreational Center, the tables were piled high with food and desserts brought for more than 40 different families. The room was filled with many activities such as origami, arts and crafts, and a dance floor, to name a few.

However, this gathering was held not just to commemorate our prizes but also our dedicated fathers, who have always been by our sides, a strong anchor within the chaotic mess of performances. Our fathers have all dedicated their patience and time to support not only us dancers, but also our hard working mothers. The party had a Photo Booth with a Happy Fathers Day banner. Families were encouraged to take photos with funny and endearing props, embracing our fathers and their unwavering commitment. On top of the baseline activities mentioned before, there were also Fathers Day themed activities such as a “daddy daughter dance” and a competition to see who could tie a tie the quickest with the prize being $10 gift cards.

The atmosphere was overflowing with laughter and love, a moment not to be forgotten from Angel Dance’s hall of fame. This magical moment was initiated by Juliet Dong, Olivia Bao, and Scarlett Yang from the ADYL Public Relations department. Moreover, we would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers and teachers who made this gathering possible; there would not have been so much happiness without them all.

Below is the Transcribed Speech made on the day of the gathering by Angel Dance Company founder Ms. Ke Ke

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Our Wonderful Dancers,

On this heartwarming day, we’re gathered to celebrate the love, strength, and quiet dedication of the amazing fathers in our lives. On behalf of everyone at Angel Dance School, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all the dads here: Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for always being there—for supporting your children’s dreams, and for the trust and encouragement you’ve given to our school.

A father’s love is steady and strong—often unspoken, yet deeply felt. He may not say much, but in every important moment, he is there: quietly driving to rehearsals, watching proudly from the audience, or offering strength when his child needs it most. Behind every dancer practicing with focus and determination, there’s a father silently cheering them on. Because in a father’s eyes, his daughter is always the brightest little angel.

Today, our students are expressing their love and gratitude in the most beautiful way they know—through dance. Every step they take on this stage is a thank-you to you, from their hearts.

We also want to give a heartfelt thanks to the incredible mothers here today. While it’s Father’s Day, we know that the happiness and strength of every family come from the love and teamwork of both parents. Thank you for creating, together, such a warm and supportive space for your children to grow.

To our amazing teaching team—thank you for your dedication, care, and creativity. You help our dancers not only grow in their art, but also in confidence and character.

And to our wonderful students: I hope you always carry a grateful heart. Shine on stage, yes—but also remember to show love and understanding to your parents every day. That’s what truly makes us proud.

As we close, I want to say one more time—from the bottom of my heart: Happy Father’s Day. Wishing you good health, happiness, and joy in every moment with your children. Our gratitude isn’t just for today—it’s something we carry always.

Thank you all so much for being here.

With love,

Keke
